It’s that time of year again! Another 2 Oktober celebration at Wibar. 🎡


This year we proudly welcome two heavyweights of the Dutch house scene. Makèz have been making waves across international dance floors, and for us it’s extra special since one half of the duo grew up right here in Leiden. A proper homecoming.


Sharing the top of the bill is Tom Trago, one of the most influential Dutch DJs and producers of the past two decades. Known for his deep connection to house in all its shades, his sets are a guarantee for pure energy and emotion on the dancefloor. After last year’s unforgettable appearance at Wibar, we can’t wait to have him back for round two.

Our very own resident Eileen opens the night, setting the tone from the very first track. Whether it’s disco dancefloor bombs or banging Chicago house cuts, she always brings the heat and keeps the room moving.

2 Oktober w/ Makèz & Tom Trago

Finally we can share our 3rd of October line-up with you all! 🗝🗝

This year we welcome Salome to Leiden, one of the most exciting names in the scene right now. Born in Tbilisi and now based in Berlin, she’s become a Herrensauna resident with a sound that runs from electro to acid to techno. This summer she closed down the Bravo at Lowlands with a legendary set, and now it’s our turn.

Sharing the bill is Kimmah, who tore up our very first party after lockdown. Known for high-tempo workouts with a mix of electro, breaks, bass and acid, she brings raw energy that leaves the walls dripping.

Opening the night is Musah, a vinyl purist with a heavy-hitting collection of electro, ghetto, acid and techno. A true disc junkie who lives and breathes this sound, he’ll set the tone from the first needle drop.

A night built on grit, sweat and pure dancefloor electricity. See you there. ⚡

Upsammy and Oceanic will guide the dancefloor, two iconic artists from Dutch soil who have long proven their worth, constantly pushing boundaries with their unique sounds. Each of them brings a vision that reaches far beyond genre, shaping sets that are as adventurous as they are unforgettable. Our friends Jacquestrax and Rosa will open the night together, weaving their energies into one. Upstairs, the listening stage returns with live visuals, a place to slow down, to dream, and to lose track of time.

The twin brothers have been shaping the Amsterdam scene for over a decade, with a deep passion for records and countless nights behind the decks. In recent years they’ve been at the helm of the infamous Adonis stage at Lowlands, a highlight where their energy and spirit set the tone. Their sound flows between house, acid, breakbeat, electro and techno, driven by the multidimensional energy that defines them as a duo. Expect a sweaty, boundary-pushing trip with an attitude only Doppelgang can bring.

This year, we're inviting two acts into Wibar.

He went from beatboxing as a nine-year-old, to crafting electronic dance music at sixteen, and finally evolving into a playfully eccentric indie-pop werido in his early twenties. In een wereld die soms voelt als een raadsel, nodigen we je uit voor een manifestatie die anders is dan anders. "Een Absurde Toestand" is geen gewoon evenement; het is een kans om de wereld eens vanuit een ander oogpunt te bekijken. Op 28 november 2025 veranderen we de Wibar in Leiden in een plek waar kunstenaars en bezoekers samen de grenzen van wat we kennen, verkennen. Waarschijnlijk zonder specifieke dieren, op de mens na.

Van ongebruikelijke lezingen tot verrassende theaterstukken, "Een Absurde Toestand" geeft kunstenaars de ruimte om de gewone manier van denken uit te dagen en je gedachten te prikkelen. Met bijdragen van Jan-Dirk van der Burg, Zarbi Zibou, Réne Oskam, Marlies Verschueren, Tessa de Swart en Joost Buis, Roggeveen|Olijerhoek, Flavia Faas, Tom Hofland, Rosa Poell, Geert Keuter, Deboska en nog veel anderen wordt deze avond een ervaring die je bij blijft.
