JØASE is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer pushing a high-energy mix of hardgroove, trance, and hardtrance - inspired by the raw, unfiltered energy of ‘90s and 2000s rave culture. After three earlier Wibar allnighters, this is shaping up to be a run to remember. This fourth edition is promising to yet-again surprise, and get the crowds dancing in this legendary venue.

In the studio, it’s all about evolution, constantly refining a sound that blends nostalgia with a forward edge, built for intensity, movement, and that moment when the dancefloor locks in as one.

But this tour is about more than just music. As nightlife gets priced up and pushed out, we believe it should stay in the hands of the artists, the bookers, and the dancers. No barriers, no gatekeeping. This one’s free.

Bringing it to Leiden, a city that once served as a home base, makes this stop more than just another night. It’s a return to familiar ground, where it all connects: past energy, present momentum, and a shared dancefloor.

Oi mate, 90's Rave is back in full force with a full on UK Bass Special. 🔊

On the 17th of October we welcome Doppler soundsystem crew, all the way from London, for a night of Jungle, Bass, Tekno and Acid. They're bringing their own DIY built soundsystem and decorations, the same setup they normally use for squat parties in and around London. This will be their first gig outside the UK, and we're doing everything we can to bring that raw freeparty energy into Wibar for the night.

Expect a wall of sound, DIY deco built specifically for the occasion, and a fully UK lineup from top to bottom. See you in the warehouse!

Friday, October 23rd, Baila Dembow takes over Wibar for a full night of reggaeton, dembow and Latin Caribbean heat, the kind of night where the floor fills before midnight and nobody remembers the walk home. Bad Bunny, Karol G, El Alfa, Rauw Alejandro, Daddy Yankee, Anuel AA, all night, no breaks. The perreo starts on the first track and it does not stop until the lights come on.
🎶 Nonstop reggaeton, dembow and Latin hits
🪩 Full takeover of Wibar
Here is the honest part. Tickets go up as the date gets closer, and the first round is the cheapest it will ever be. Leiden always shows up hard, so we do not expect the door to stay open long.

Over heftruckjes. Laat je platstampen, je oren in de knoop draaien, je ogen rollen.

Je hoeft het niet te snappen. Laat je uitdagen, verwarren en verrassen. Dit is een Absurde Toestand.

Bring out your inner ogre, Wibar Halloween is back. 🐊

Halloween is one of our favorite nights of the year, and every year we lose our minds a little transforming the warehouse for it. This year we welcome you into our humble swamp and will pull you all the way in on October 31st.

Moxes and Emvae are no strangers to the Wibar dancefloor, but this time they'll finally join forces for an extended set that will make it impossible to stand still. Groningen's Emmz opens, laying down the groove before they drop in and take it from there. All three know Wibar inside out and always leave us longing for more. No doubt it will get freaky again.

Dress up, get swampy, and come find out what we've done to the place. 🌿

Luckily HARD VOOR WEINIG is back on November 6th. Come in for weinig and expect to go hard. This time the line-up is Jippie, Aems and Pits.nl. Jippie is our crazy talented intern, and this is his very first club gig, so a warm welcome is in order. Pits.nl is a vinyl freak from Delft who plays nothing but banging tunes. Aems goes funky, bassy and clubby, with an energy so infectious that standing still stops being an option.

Tickets are 7,50, as always. Grab a friend, grab your last few coins and see you on the dancefloor. 🐖

HARD VOOR WEINIG

A night where every record is carefully selected, every transition is mixed by hand, and every set reflects a genuine passion for hardcore. Hardwired is about authenticity, craftsmanship, and preserving the culture that laid the foundation of the scene.

Leading the night are Panic and Predator, two true pioneers whose influence on hardcore spans decades. Armed with crates full of classics, they'll take you back to an era where music was driven by creativity, character and uncompromising energy.

Joining them is a line-up that perfectly represents the Hardwired philosophy. From Early Rave to Millennium. From timeless anthems to forgotten underground gems, every set will be played exclusively on vinyl, delivering the warmth, grit and raw energy that only records can provide. Hardwired is more than just another event. It's where generations of ravers, collectors and dedicated music lovers come together to celebrate hardcore in its purest form.

On November 7th, Wibar once again becomes the home of uncompromising hardcore. No trends. No compromises. Just vinyl. Just passion. Just Hardwired.

CONTR4ST takes over Wibar on Friday the 13th November, with Jay Jackson (fka.m4a) behind the decks all night himself.

CONTR4ST exists to shine a light on the brighter side of dance music, a space of pure euphoria, nostalgia and joy. At their nights the focus is on making people smile and making them want to hug their friends. Think prog house, house and HI-NRG with a touch of trance and Italo, warm, soulful and made for the dancefloor.

London born, Berlin based, and after years as fka.m4a now stepping forward under his real name. Jay runs CONTR4ST himself, and this is the first time he brings it to our warehouse. One long night with the lights on the bright side. Bring the friends you love, you'll want to hug them. See you there.

HERE WE GO. One last time. After 10 amazing years of organizing events, seeing and feeling the love from you all and getting to meet the most inspiring artists, it is time for our final edition.

We have poured our blood, sweat and tears into Basement and we are so, so tired (and our backs are hurting all the time). So it’s time to pass the torch, but not before we host one last banger for you all.

Headlining is one of our all-time favourites: the one and only Enei, bringing the underground sound we love so much. And we’re not stopping there. We’ve stacked the support section and invited back old friends to celebrate 10 unforgettable years of Basement.

It's gonna be a full house, filled with nothing but the vibes you've come to know and love.
One last night together. Let’s make it one for the books.

One last banger after a decade of drum 'n bass

Ravetheef is Leiden’s steamiest queer party and we are coming back to Wibar this fall! We are bringing a great selection of queer performers to grace the decks, the stages and the cages. We expect all of you theefjes do be there and dance with us! Show some skin while you’re at it, and leave your phone at home!

A hometown favourite is getting ready for a new adventure at WIBAR: all night long (6H)

For the first time in Leiden, Job takes full control for an entire night in his own city. Now known worldwide for his underground selections and long, rolling sets, he’ll take the room through six hours from start to finish.

Job de Jong - All Night Long

We're back on the 5th of December and we are so ready for it. 🐎

For this one we're welcoming two of Bad Boombox's Hot Meal Records affiliates. Janis Zielinski makes the trip from Hannover with a head full of 90s synths and early 2000s vocals. He turns house, UKG and groove into bouncy, melodic sets built around one thing: moments on the dancefloor you don't forget. Joining him is Jessie Dols from Maastricht, who thrives on the unexpected. House, UKG, trance, breakbeat and techno all end up in one set, and it feels raw and alive from the first record to the last. Watch how she moves behind the decks and you'll see why the floor follows her anywhere.

The Ponyclub residents are on board as always, so expect the usual from us: loud, sweaty and a little unhinged. Get back in the saddle, bring your friends and leave your good behaviour at home. See you on the dancefloor!

Get your friends, saddle up. Ponyclub is back.

On December 12th, Wibar Invites returns with DJ Fuckoff taking over the warehouse. 🖤

The New Zealand born, Berlin based DJ has made a name for herself with high energy sets, fast paced mixing and an unapologetic approach to club music. She brings an unmistakable attitude and intensity to every set that sends any raver into a craze.

Joining her are HLM, the Hong Kong and London rooted, Vienna based DJ and producer making waves across the global club scene with their forward thinking selections. Leiden’s own Ais brings euphoric trance, bounce and hard house, bold vocals included, and pulls the floor into one continuous flow.

Breakneck bass, bounce and hard house, with no brakes in sight.

On December 18, we’re putting the spotlight on Leiden’s own Fiene, taking over the booth for her very first All Night Long.

One artist. One room. One journey from start to finish. Expect a night built around the connection between Fiene and the crowd, exactly how the Intimate Series was meant to be experienced.

Leiden's own Fiene takes the booth for her first ever all night long.

Live in de Loods closes the year with one of the biggest names in Dutch hip-hop. 🎤

On Sunday 20 December, Hef takes over the Wibar stage. Born in Rotterdam and shaped by Hoogvliet, he broke through in 2008 with "Puur", a track about life in his neighbourhood, delivered in that calm, almost unbothered flow that became his signature. Hefvermogen followed, then album after album. Almost twenty years in, he's still one of the voices that defined Dutch rap, and we're proud to have him in the warehouse.

Opening is JAH, a self-declared "misfit" from Almere and one of the fastest rising names around. He brings colour to Dutch hip-hop and R&B with music that makes you dance, hooks made for singing along and playful flows, and he can stir feelings in people they haven't felt in a long time. With a JAH show, standing still is not an option. As he puts it himself, JAH is for everyone.

Doors open at 19:30, shows start at 20:00. See you there!

LIVE IN DE LOODS w/ HEF

On January 22, we’re doing things a little differently. Another All Night Long, but this time the artist remains a secret.

One booth. One artist. One night to discover what’s waiting behind the curtain. Expect the same close connection, pure energy and intimate atmosphere that defines the series.

Back To Base w/ Secret Guest All Night Long

The Intimate Series continues on February 26 with another All Night Long, featuring a secret guest behind the decks.

We’re keeping the name hidden for now, but the formula stays the same: a close crowd, a packed dancefloor and one artist taking you through the entire night.
