On September 18th, Wibar Invites returns with an artist we’ve been wanting to host for a long time. Someone whose music, energy and vision feels deeply connected to everything we love about dance music. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Narciss to Leiden. ✨

Narciss creates music that lives somewhere between pain and pleasure, turning emotion into pure release on the dancefloor. Their sound moves effortlessly between euphoric melodies, heavy low end and moments of pure catharsis, always carrying an intensity that resonates far beyond the club itself. Through their constantly evolving artistic journey built around transformation and self expression, Narciss has become one of the most exciting and distinctive voices in electronic music right now.

Joining them are two artists we’re equally proud to have on this line up.

36framez has become a familiar face in nightlife through their photography and  presence, but behind the lens sits one of the most exciting emerging selectors out there right now. Strictly vinyl, deeply passionate and armed with a record bag full of house and unexpected gems built for pure freedom on the dancefloor.

Opening the night is Leiden’s own DJ Spektrum, a true vinyl enthusiast whose sets pull inspiration from late 90s and early 00s. Expect sharp selections, unexpected twists and exactly the kind of energy we love to kick off the night with.

The immaculate Narciss finally makes their way to Leiden!

Wibar Invites Narciss

Na maanden in de studio is het moment eindelijk daar. Cosmic Debris presenteert met trots de release van hun nieuwe album Electrical Magic Woman.

Maak je klaar voor een avond vol loodzware riffs, psychedelische jams en grooves die je meenemen op een ruimtereis zonder eindbestemming. Met twee nieuwe bemanningsleden is Cosmic Debris uitgegroeid tot een viertal en klinkt de band groter, zwaarder en energieker dan ooit tevoren.

Om de avond compleet te maken trapt Hollow Drifter de avond af met hun eigen stevige dosis zware riffs en meeslepende rock. Daarna is het tijd voor Cosmic Debris om Electrical Magic Woman live tot leven te brengen.

Stap aan boord van de ruimtecapsule, laat je meesleuren door fuzz, feedback en psychedelische landschappen, en vier samen met ons de geboorte van een nieuw hoofdstuk.

On 19 September we take over De Wibar once again. Expect a high energy night driven by House, Hardhouse & Trance

This time we welcome headliner Luca v/d Hombergh, known for his track Favela and his ability to control the energy from start to finish. Alongside him stands Leidens own upcoming talent Xibalba , bringing a high energy and groovy trance sound. Danty and Casino will open the night and set the pace from the very first minute.

We’re kicking off the next chapter of the Intimate Series on September 25 with Fenrick taking over the booth for a full 3-hour set, joined by Lumine & Roos Reijmers.

A night built around what the Intimate Series is all about: a close crowd, pure energy, and the unmistakable connection between the DJ and the floor. No rush, no distractions. Just three hours of Fenrick, surrounded by the people who came for the music.

Nu de zomer tot zijn einde komt, mag het wat ons betreft gauw oktober worden… Want dan is het Leiden International Film Festival! Maar voordat het zover is, stoffen wij een oude LIFF-hit af. Op 27 september hebben we de eer om Cold War (2018) van Paweł Pawlikowski samen met LIFF te vertonen.

In het Polen van de Koude Oorlog gaat een muzikant op zoek naar jonge artiesten voor een ensemble dat traditionele Poolse folklore opvoert. Tijdens de audities ontmoet hij een jonge zangeres. Ze voelen zich meteen tot elkaar aangetrokken, maar wat begint als liefde op het eerste gezicht groeit uit tot een gepassioneerde verhouding die nooit helemaal lijkt te kunnen werken. Tegen de achtergrond van een verdeeld Europa blijven ze elkaar vinden en verliezen, telkens opnieuw. Politiek, afstand en tegenslagen staan hen voortdurend in de weg.

Met bijzondere zang en dans in prachtige zwart-witbeelden vertelt Pawlikowski een intieme liefdesballade. De film is een ode aan zijn eigen ouders, op wie de melancholische hoofdpersonages losjes gebaseerd zijn.

De film is Pools gesproken en Nederlands ondertiteld.

Every year, 2 October marks one of the biggest nights on our calendar. A celebration that brings together familiar faces, celebrates our city and makes for a dancefloor that somehow always finds another gear until the lights come on. We can't wait to welcome you in our warehouse yet again.


Leading the night is Ryan Elliott. Born in Detroit and based in Berlin, he has spent over two decades refining a sound that effortlessly connects the musical heritage of both cities. As a resident of Berghain and Panorama Bar, Ryan has built a reputation as one of those rare DJs who never settles for the obvious. His sets move between punchy house and driving techno with remarkable ease, guided by impeccable selection and a feel for the room that only comes with years behind the decks. Every record has a purpose, every transition tells a story.


Joining him for a special back to back are Wibar resident Kevin Lo and our very own Tom O'Riordan. Both obsessive diggers with a shared love for house music, they'll be diving deep into timeless grooves, rolling rhythms and soulful cuts for three hours straight. Make sure you arrive early to catch them work their magic.

On 3 October we welcome BASHKKA to Wibar. A DJ and producer shaped by a decade in New York, her sound sits at the intersection of rhythm, emotion and connection. Moving between house and techno, her sets are playful yet precise, intimate yet expansive, always guided by a deep understanding of the dancefloor. From Panorama Bar to Blitz Club and beyond, she has built a reputation for creating moments where music, movement and community come together.


A familiar face returns as Valody takes over the decks. As one of our trusted Wibar regulars, she has become a beloved part of our story. Originally from Portugal and now based in Amsterdam, Valody brings a unique energy to every set. For this special night she leaves the heavier edges behind and dives into house, bringing her passion and carefully selected records straight to the floor.


Closing the night is angelboy. The Amsterdam based DJ and producer is known for high-energy sets where unexpected sounds, banging rhythms and pure joy collide. With a background rooted in queer community and a love for pushing boundaries, they turn every dancefloor into a space for connection, release and celebration.

Oi mate, 90's Rave is back in full force with a full on UK Bass Special. 🔊

On the 17th of October we welcome Doppler soundsystem crew, all the way from London, for a night of Jungle, Bass, Tekno and Acid. They're bringing their own DIY built soundsystem and decorations, the same setup they normally use for squat parties in and around London. This will be their first gig outside the UK, and we're doing everything we can to bring that raw freeparty energy into Wibar for the night.

Expect a wall of sound, DIY deco built specifically for the occasion, and a fully UK lineup from top to bottom. See you in the warehouse!

Halloween is one of our favorite nights of the year, and every year we lose our minds a little transforming the warehouse for it. This year we welcome you into our humble swamp and will pull you all the way in on October 31st.

Moxes and Emvae are no strangers to the Wibar dancefloor, but this time they'll finally join forces for an extended set that will make it impossible to stand still. Groningen's Emmz opens, laying down the groove before they drop in and take it from there. All three know Wibar inside out and always leave us longing for more. No doubt it will get freaky again.
