, the driving force behind The Dream Team, was already deep into electronic dance music before hardcore took over. One night at RoXy flipped his world upside down—what began as a skeptical curiosity became an all-consuming obsession. He practically became the music, and his life story (WAT DE FOK, OUE – the bizarre life of DJ Dano) was so wild, his book flew off the shelves. Hardcore may have put his name on the map, but his love for techno runs just as deep. Last time he played Rollende Beats, it felt like the floor might split open—so bringing him back was not up for debate.



 grew up in a home where music wasn’t just played—it was lived. Shaped by hip-hop, funk, and disco, he became mesmerized by the raw, hypnotic grooves flowing in from Chicago and Detroit. Armed with synths, drum machines, and a vision, he saw where this sound was headed—and made sure he was part of it. His record collection exploded, and soon he was taking over the decks at Amsterdam’s most cutting-edge clubs and underground raves. In 1993, at the peak of it all, he launched different labels, one of which is 100% Pure, now one of the most influential house and techno labels in the Netherlands. The years that followed? Hit after hit, legendary festivals, groundbreaking releases, and the night he and Joris Voorn pulled 40,000 people into the groove at Sensation.

 are teaming up in the lead-up to the annual short film festival and invite you to an evening that delves deep into the festival's 2025 selection of short films, with a special selection all centred around the topic of love. 


Love takes many forms - ritual and rupture, longing and play, memory and miscommunication. This preview programme traces the contours of intimacy through different cinematic lenses: from poetic fragments and surreal experiments to raw, emotional encounters. Whether love is whispered, imagined, or constructed from absence, these films expose its shifting textures - funny, fragile, strange, and deeply human.

 was established in 2009 as a new platform for short films and has since grown into one of the most significant short film events in the Netherlands. Each year, the festival receives over 1,200 submissions from more than 70 countries. Over the course of four days, the festival presents more than 100 short films in a variety of genres from around the world.

Every DJ we have selected, gets a 30-minute slot to showcase their sound, starting from 20:00 and finishing at 23:00. From 23:00 to 00:00, we keep things more flexible, allowing room for spontaneous B2Bs and unexpected moments.

Support comes from two of Leiden’s finest: CERA sets the tone with uplifting house and disco, and Cyberboy closes the night with a high-energy ride until the lights come on.

90s Rave | Joost van Bellen 

 in Wibar. Erik de Jong en Saartje Van Camp betreden samen het podium voor een bijzondere duo-show.

 laat Erik de Jong al ruim 20 jaar een onmiskenbare indruk achter bij het Nederlandse publiek. Door zijn vele hits, zoals “Ik wil alleen maar zwemmen”, “Bagagedrager” en “Kom Terug”, groeide Spinvis uit tot een alom geliefd figuur, die nog steeds keer op keer weet te verwonderen met zijn muziek. Eigenzinnig en veelzijdig, muzikaal en poëtisch.

De Belgische zangeres, celliste, componist en theatermaker 

 volgde een klassieke opleiding tot celliste en speelde in onder andere het Riciotti Ensemble, Het Gelders Orkest en I Fiamminghi. Al sinds 2003 speelt ze samen met Spinvis, soms met de band, soms als duo.

Ze vonden elkaar in hun vergelijkbare blik op fantasie en werkelijkheid en hun brede muzikale smaak. Daarbij bleken hun stemmen perfect bij elkaar te passen.
Hun samenwerking resulteert in een intieme en sfeervolle voorstelling die je niet wilt missen.

DBD (LVC, Nobel, Are Friends Eclectic?, Fade To Grey) keert na een kleine 2 jaar terug op de LVC Swingavond in de Wibar. In zijn set ligt de nadruk op new wave, EBM en electro, met uitstapjes naar o.a. dance-punk en 90's rock.

Pter & Rtger zijn voor deze nacht jullie muzikale druïden. Zij gaan jullie verwennen met donkere klanken vanuit het zwartlicht. Geen steen blijft overeind.

Henry Verboket al vanaf begin onze feesten als VJ betrokken. Hij begon z'n pop-visuals te ontwikkelen in het LVC. Eerst schilderend, zoals bij voorbeeld tijdens optredens van Immortal en in 1987 z'n eerste VJ optreden tijdens een voorstelling van Holland Amerika in Lantaren/Venster. Zijn meest geliefde podium echter, is en blijft de Alternatieve LVC swingavond!
