Deze avond is bedoeld voor hetero's en er zijn twee ticket types (20-24 jaar & 25-35 jaar). Mocht je het liever buiten je eigen leefdtijdsgroep zoeken, dan is er nog alle mogelijkheid om te minglen tijdens de borrel! Je speeddatet natuurlijk wel binnen je eigen leeftijdscategorie.

Na afloop worden de tafels aan de kant geschoven en gaat de Wibar open als club. Voel je vrij om te blijven en je slag te slaan op de dansvloer! Je speeddateticket blijft geldig en je hebt dus gratis toegang.

A familiar face to our dancefloor, Mehran was there during Wibar’s opening weekend  seven years ago and has been back on many occasions. This time he takes full control of the night, digging deep into his record collection and letting the room guide the direction.

A revered name within the Dutch club scene and far beyond, Moody Mehran moves effortlessly across the electronic spectrum. House, trance, techno, acid and unexpected turns come together through instinct and careful selection.

BlackBox and BaseYRD team up for the first time at Wibar for a special Easter Dayrave edition, Sunday, April 5th. Expect acid and bouncy techno, neon rave energy and a floor that keeps moving. Early on it leans into hard house and hard trance. A strong line-up, high energy all the way through, a line-up worth showing up early for.

On April 10th, Into The Dome returns to Wibar.

Fourteen artists step into a night where sound and visuals lock in from the first track. 140, deep dubstep and UKG take over the dancefloor, powered by a full Dome setup built to hit hard and pull you in.

Headlining this edition is Brussels based 140 and dubstep producer SVDKO. Dutch deep dubstep mainstay Hebbe joins the bill, alongside a rising UKG talent bringing pure groove and forward momentum.

Representing the Into the Dome crew, Jukaa, Sorza and Flexusz guide the night from open to close. Our VJ team creates custom visuals for every set, with light installations woven through the space so music and image move as one.

Saturday April 11 the Intergalactic FM spaceship lands at Wibar once again. Two rooms. Two frequencies. True selectors who live and breathe the underground.

, the head honcho himself, steps in with his fearless, anything goes approach that has shaped generations of freaks and dancefloor outsiders. Forged in The Hague’s pirate radio culture and founder of 

, he moves effortlessly between acid, electro, disco oddities and forgotten machine funk.

 dives into his analogue universe for a special live show. Swirling synth mysticism, battered drum machines and sci fi narratives unfolding in real time. Raw, emotional and impossible to replicate.

 brings her razor sharp take on early house, electro, acid and techno. Gritty textures, stripped rhythms and punchy basslines built for dancers who like it deep and dirty. Leiden’s own 

 takes care of the opening with an all vinyl set to set the tone right from the start.

Power 4 Ukraine: A Cultural Fundraising Evening at Wibar Leiden

Four years after the invasion of Ukraine, the impact of the war is still felt every day. One of the most urgent needs right now is access to electricity. On April 17th, we’re coming together at Wibar to help make a difference.

In collaboration with Help4Ukraine.nl, we’re hosting a special fundraising evening dedicated to raising money for power generators. The goal is simple. Power 4 Ukraine.

For €28.50 you’ll receive a traditional three course Ukrainian dinner with authentic borscht, handmade dumplings and Ukrainian pancakes. Throughout the evening you can experience live music by Ukrainian artists and browse a small market with handcrafted goods made by Ukrainian makers.

All proceeds will go directly to Help4Ukraine to purchase and deliver generators to communities that urgently need them.

. Het derde album van Ploegendienst. De Beste Band van Nederland is terug. Niet terug van weggeweest want ze waren er de hele tijd al. Na het vorige album volgde een succesvolle zegetocht langs alle relevante zalen en festivals die er toe doen in ons kille racistenland. De Pinkpops en de Lowlands logen er niet om. Kolkende moshpits vol opgehitste fans uit alle hoeken en gaten van de samenleving. Precies zoals de band en frontman Ray het graag zien. Toch was het ook een lange en intensieve periode.

Niet terug van weggeweest dus. Maar wel terug met een nieuw album. Album nummer 3. 

 all caps. Het derde album is historisch gezien altijd een taaie. Met de eerste bewezen zij dat ze er waren, met de tweede bevestigde de band zichzelf. Daarna kan eigenlijk alles. Maar hoe punk is ‘alles’?


De plaat is niet zonder conflict geschreven en opgenomen. Ray had een vrij uitgesproken mening over de richting. Dat kwam niet altijd overeen met de andere bandleden. Maar dat hoeft niet altijd een probleem te zijn in de kunst.

Het was belangrijk om niet te politiek te spreken namens de groep, maar niemand hoeft te denken dat de waarheid op Ploegendienst album nummer 3 onder stoelen of banken wordt gestoken. Een album over geile seks èn over discriminatie. Over echte liefde, de dood en identiteit. Een koortsdroom waarin de grenzen van de goede smaak zijn opgezocht.

Een lappendeken aan emoties en stijlen voor heel Nederland om zich onder te verwarmen tijdens het kibbelen met elkaar. De Beste Band van Nederland is terug.

 is een groovy, garage, glamourous, gore en gnarly punkband. Het ontstond toen vier verschillende genres een kamer binnenliepen en samen een compleet oncontroleerbare kleine punkbaby voortbrachten.

De band ziet eruit alsof ze zijn ontsnapt uit 

, voelt alsof een vrachtwagen van tien ton je recht in het gezicht raakt, ruikt als glanzende rode pumps die net uit de doos komen, en laat je je negen-tot-vijfbaan in twijfel trekken. 🎸

On April 26 we celebrate Kingsnight the way it should be celebrated. Loud, sweaty and deep into the night.

Headlining the night is Belfast born, Berlin based 

, one of the most distinctive selectors in modern club music. With her unmistakable Chunker sound she moves effortlessly through house, acid and breakbeat, all driven by chunky basslines and banging drums.

From Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson to Awakenings and Love International, Sally has built a reputation as a DJ who knows exactly how to ignite a dancefloor. Her label Big Saldo’s Chunkers channels the raw spirit of late 80s and early 90s house music and that same energy runs through every set she plays.

EYES WIDE SHUT returns to Wibar on Saturday May 9th for a special edition that unfolds in two parts, one continuous arc from concert to clubnight.

Emerging in the early nineties, Seefeel became the first guitar-led project signed to Warp Records, quietly breaking the unwritten rules of what a dance label could be. Their music has always lived in the in between. Ethereal echoes, dubby harmonics, bass-heavy undercurrents and atmosphere that feels physical. Timeless, but never nostalgic.

After years of silence and rare appearances, Seefeel returned to Warp with

On may 15th we take over De Wibar once again. Expect a high energy night driven by Hardhouse, Trance and Bouncy Techno. Fast rhythms. Sharp kicks and no breaks on the dancefloor.

This time we welcome Australian force Jokesonyou. His sound blends groove and pressure with precision. Alongside him stands Kellar, known for tight selections and relentless energy. Local talent Bacqer completes the lineup and sets the tone with the perfect energy.

Together they build the night from start to finish. We move as one and dance until sunrise.

 in the saddle. 🐎

We’re thrilled to welcome one of the wildest riders in the new generation of club producers and DJs. A selector who refuses to stay in one lane, LB aka LABAT tears through filtered house, techno, UKG and hard house, stitching it all together into sweaty, euphoric dancefloor moments that feel both nostalgic and completely new.

His sets feel like a direct line between the spirit of 90s rave and the mutant club sounds of today. Fast hands, swinging arms and a floor that doesn’t get a moment to breathe.

Born in Strasbourg and raised between France and India, Labat started mixing at the age of seven after inheriting his brother’s turntables. By fifteen he was already playing nightclubs while his mother waited outside. Since then he has been on a steady gallop across the global club circuit, from Nuits Sonores to Boiler Room and far beyond.
